How can the urban environment stimulate healthy behaviour and contribute to reducing health inequalities? The department of Public Health investigates these questions by large international comparative studies as well as local collaborative projects. We aim to identify opportunities and challenges in designing inclusive and healthy urban environments that are sustainable for people and planet.
